Unity Development for VR

A VR Chapel, inspired by Monet

A intense sprint work 2 weeks long that required for our team of 3 to design 3D models under a creative theme and bring it together in Unity.

We successfully built the app at the end.

Using sprites and textures to fill the space

Apart from using low poly 3D models, we took the opportunity to fill the space with sprites and texture to make it lively. For examples, the candles are sprites that emits lights which were later baked.

Hand Tracked features

Interaction SDK used to create hand interaction between gameobjects and users.

Optimizing with layering light by baking it

The whole project’s goal was ot see how far we could stretch by creating a delightful atmosphere while keeping only baked lights. The way to was to start with the a very dimmed environment, and they slowly adding lights - almost like painting in layers with oil or acrylic.
